Kajal and Gautam loved each other.
The couple was first acquainted through mutual friends over a decade ago and they instantly started loving each other.
When they became confident, the boy proposed to her for marriage.
They started their journey by developing friendships with each other. It almost went on for a decade ago. They also used to meet with each other over dating. They enjoyed friendship for seven years. Before coming to a friendly knot, they dated for three years. As stated by Kajal, she was restless to meet with him during lockdown imposed owing to the pandemic. Usually, she used to meet with him on several occasions, in social parties, in important professional endeavors, etc. But when they couldn't meet with each other for three weeks due to lockdown, she became helpless like anything. One fine morning when she came to the grocery shop, she saw Gautam and they could have a glimpse behind a mask at a grocery shop. Then she could realize that they should be life partners. She found many characteristics in Gautam Kitchlu which set him apart from being a filmy shot. That factor attracted her most as she had enough of filmy charms. Before making a proposal for the wedding, she had to pass through some emotional but heart-throbbing conversations. The way Gautam Kitchlu expressed his feeling of how he wanted to have a future with Kajal lured her to come together through a wedding knot.
In pre-wedding ceremony, a bachelor party was arranged in a befitting manner. Though there were very countable number of guests who joined in the party, it was full of mirths and merriments. Then followed Haldi, Mehendi which are the rituals of their religion. The engagement was conducted in a suitable manner. Kajal wore attractive dresses suitable for the occasion.
She preferred to wear a dupatta and Kurti while Gautam was fascinated by wearing a Malabari kurta and pyjama.
The surprising thing is that the couple's 64-guest wedding was planned in just 35 days. The theme of their wedding set up were ‘Kashmir to Kanyakumari'.
New bride kajal was breathtaking in a scarlet ensemble which she styled with a pale pink dupatta. She preferred to style her with a gold Mathapatti like a headband in addition to her traditional wedding jewellery. She looked very attractive and charming in her attires. Her husband complimented her newlywed wife wearing a gorgeous sherwani. Both the couples were the apple of the eye of everyone present in the ceremony. The bride received a standing ovation from the participants though thin in number, the groom had also received the same when they entered the marriage hall.
Haldi & Mehendi Ceremony:
Haldi Mehndi ceremonies were ritualized in a soothing manner. As other guests were busy applying henna, she was also allured to do the same. She transformed a French bistro into a kitsch Mandi in order to pay her indebtedness to the artisans of India who have been affected badly by COVID 19.
Before going for Haldi Mehndi ceremonies, she attended a Radha Krishna Satsang just to begin with the solemn occasion. Radha Krishna Puja is symbolized as eternal love relation. The living room was transformed into virtually a Virndavan hape. With an auspicious note, the celebration of Haldi Mehendi began.
While Kajal is from a typical Punjabi family, Gautam Kitchlu is half Punjabi and half Kashmiri. So they wanted to blend both side's rituals for their wedding. Pusht Puja which belonged to Kitchlu family root in which puja is performed by flowers, the Sat Pheras belonged to Kajal's family background. Both the rituals and culture were taken care of. Since Gautam Kitchlu had a South Indian background as he spent a long time there for a filmy career, he preferred to adopt their rituals in his marriage.
Owing to the ongoing pandemic, only a few visitors comprising friends and family turned up but more or less the ceremony was a hilarious one. The wedding hall was decorated with twinkling lights and dazzling bulbs. There was a different odor surrounding every nook and corner. The guests enjoyed the ceremonial function to the full brim with mirth and gaiety. There were natural flowers strewn throughout to mark the occasion. Kajal and Gautam had a love affair that led them to marry each other.
Social distancing was maintained while observing the rituals. A big Mandap was erected where both of them took Phera for a happy conjugal life. Kajal wore an amazing appearance with mesmerizing eyes and a gorgeous lehenga.
The intimate yet grand wedding reception of Kajal Aggarwal was the highlight of their wedding as the couple was looking truly gorgeous in matching outfits. Kajal wore gold champagne coloured outfit with red chooda and Kitchlu wore black suit and was complimenting Kajal's outfit perfectly!
On Sunday, Kajal took to her Instagram and shared a series of beautiful pictures from her honeymoon, in between the water villas in the Maldives. She captioned one of her pictures as “My beach essentials”.
Kajal was seen in a beautiful red beachy dress paired with quirky red earrings and black flip flops and Gautam paired her with his white casuals.
