What bride does not want to glow on their wedding day? We bring you Ultimate Guide To Wedding Skincare.

After all such a day, when everything is all about you comes only once and you want to look your very best.

A flawless perfect and glowing skin is your desire and

a simple skincare routine no matter what your skin tone is will bring you just that!

Start by identifying your skin type,

that way you can avoid the danger of using just anything recommended for skin in general. Skin type specific products prevent havoc on skin that may be the result of using random products.

Everyone has a different and unique skin type but there are common categorizations too such as Oily, Normal, and Dry.

Again your skin has undertones such as cool-toned and warm-toned.

You can determine your skin type at home.

Just get a blotting paper and pat it over your face like a sheet mask.

If the paper gathers little or no oil then you belong to the dry skin category.

Oil from the nose and forehead is a sign of normal skin while too much oil is obviously oily.

What to do for Oily Skin?

For your morning skincare routine, begin with Cleansing Gel,

then move on to Toner, Antioxidant Serum

and don’t forget some sunscreen preferably Zinc oxide.

In the night repeat the Cleansing Gel and Toner.

Then gently apply some AHA/BHA Serum on to your face

and end the routine with some Oil-free moisturizer.

Clay is a very recommended ingredient to help with oily skin

so use Clay Masks and face oil at least once every week.

Do Facials every once in a while.

Pearl facial and mud-based or clay-based facials are best suited for oily skin

to bring back a radiant look on your face.

Dry Skin

Begin your morning routine with some good old Cleansing lotion then move on to Toner.

Apply Antioxidant serum next

and to retain the moisture in your skin use a moisturizer with SPF.

For the night routine first, clean your skin with some cleanser and toner.

Apply a retinol-based serum and then a hydrating moisturizer.

You can also use Eye creams to protect the skin around your eyes.

Use face oils at least once a week.

Chocolate works wonders for dry and tired skin because it is rich in antioxidants.

Therefore go for chocolate-based facials to rejuvenate and heal your tired skin.

Normal Skin

As you probably already have realized,

every good skin routine begins with Cleanser and Toner.

In the case of normal skin or as it is also called- combination skin type,

use a lightweight moisturizer followed by a Zinc oxide Sunscreen in the morning.

In the night repeat the cleanser and toner

and then gently apply AHA/BHA serum onto your face.

You can also use Retinol based serum.

Apply a lightweight moisturizer in the end. Use clay masks and face oils on a weekly basis.

For combination skin, the best glow comes with light facials that involve minimal massaging.

Light facials even out your skin tone as well as make your skin pores tight. Therefore, giving a flawless appearance to your skin!

Is your skin sensitive?

Skincare for sensitive type skin can be tricky. Before you realize what went wrong, you may suffer from a rash breakout or pimple breakout on your face.

Therefore it is wise to eliminate triggering ingredients in the products you use such as alcohol, added scents.

Use a cleansing lotion in the morning then wait for some time and apply Alcohol-free Toner.

After you’re done with these apply some scent-free Moisturizer. Do not forget to use the Zinc Oxide sunscreen!

In the night to use the same combinations of Cleanser and Toner as you did in the morning and reapply the scent-free moisturizer.

Use gel masks and lactic acid serums at least once every week.

Oxygen facial brings back a healthy glow to sensitive skin.

Do's and don’ts of skincare

  • Always use sunscreen! No matter where you’re going.
  • Keep a gap of at least 40 days in between two facials.
  • Don’t use abrasive scrubs, hard brushes, and cleansers.
  • Start drinking green tea. It works great as an antioxidant.
  • Moisturize your entire body.
  • If you have dry skin use rich skincare products such as undiluted shea butter, extra-virgin coconut oil, or homemade herbal oil.
  • Use masks once a week after you exfoliate your skin. Don’t overuse them.
  • Always clean your makeup brushes and sponges to avoid bacteria accumulation and acne breakout.
